REVIEW OF
YULETIDE DEFENDER
BY
SANDRA ROBBINS
This is the first time I’ve read Sandra Robbins’s work, and I’m so glad I did. Yuletide Defender was a complete pleasure to read.
In Lake City, gang members are being murdered one-by-one. Could it be a vigilante, or an agenda of opposing gangs? Reporter Rachel Long’s anonymous source reveals the murderer is a vigilante with the goal of triggering a gang war. Rachel’s investigation leads her to the heart of the battlegrounds. But handsome Det. Matthew Franklin wants to keep her out of harm’s way. Rachel couldn’t back down, though, because she needs the raise from a big story to secure care for her special-needs sister. And now the vigilante is after her, too. Can she and Det. Franklin find out who it is in time for “peace on earth” at Christmas?
Sandra Robbins’s characters are fresh and authentic. I connected with them early on, and didn’t want to let them go. The story itself contained some surprising twists that had me wondering and trying to work out who the murderer really is. I had a great time reading this story and would recommend it to anyone!
