REVIEW OF
THEIR SEPARATE WAYS
BY MICHELLE SUTTON
Their Separate Ways is the sequel to Never Without Hope, and I have to say that I liked it every bit as much as the original. I’d gotten to know Hope Williams, Tony Perotta, James Williams, and Brenda Perotta, and felt like I had invested my time and emotions in all of them.
The story takes place a year after Hope and Tony’s affair had been exposed. Each is working to restore their marriage. But there’s one difference between them. The Lord is at the center of Hope and James’ marriage, but not Tony and Brenda’s. You can imagine the obstacles and pitfalls they experience on both sides.
Michelle Sutton always writes with raw honesty and the experience she has accumulated through her job as a social worker shines through. Authenticity is a trademark of all of Michelle’s books. Therefore, some of the situations in this story are not meant for young readers.
If you are one of Michelle’s regular readers, you will not be disappointed in Their Separate Ways. If you are a first-time reader, and like edgy, real-life stories, I recommend this book to you. Enjoy!
