Danger at the Door is fun, fast-paced, and pure enjoyment. Of course, I never wanted to stop reading, until I got to the last word.

In this e-book by Michelle Sutton, Laney Cooper loses her fiancé to in an auto accident, and becomes agoraphobic. Alone on the anniversary of his death, she memorializes him with a special pizza dinner with all the right trimmings—but no onions. Never with onions. When the pizza is delivered with—you guessed it—onions, Laney takes it out on the delivery man. Bojan Trajkovski, the owner of the restaurant where Laney ordered the pizza had taken over deliveries that night to help his manager. He is appalled that the order was botched, and wants to make it up to her. Because of his thick foreign accent, and miscommunication, Laney finds the man rude, and reports him to who she thinks is the owner. As Bojan continues to shower her with kindness, the two hit it off. Laney eventually becomes his language coach, and a romance is sparked between the two. But danger is lurking in the grounds surrounding Laney’s home. Can she and Bojan figure out who is after her before it’s too late? Can she trust that God will take care of her no matter where she goes?

Not only was the plot lively and fresh, but the characters were extremely so. An agoraphobic heroine, and a hero whose way of speaking made his mess-ups so funny to read were a delight. A highlight of the book. I highly recommend this book for those who love romance, and those who love suspense.
