REVIEW OF
KLUTZY KANTOR
BY J. ADAY KENNEDY
This is a book for readers 6 to ten years of age. Very cute story and great illustrations.
Klutzy Kantor is a Pegasus who is, well, klutzy, and wants to do something about it. A close friend, Agra, tells him of the legend of the leprechaun, Cobbledom McSweeney, who will grant a wish to the winner of a battle of wits. Kantor vows to challenge him to a duel, so he can wish to stop being a klutz. One thing he does well is practice riddles everyday. But the leprechaun attempts to outsmart Kantor by giving him a next to impossible riddle to solve.
The takeaway to the story is that children learn about the benefits of practice, and to focus on their strengths. That alone is good reason to get a copy of this book for your child.
