REVIEW OF
FINDING JEENA
BY MIRALEE FERRELL
This is the sequel to Miralee Ferrell’s first novel, the widely acclaimed, The Other Daughter. Jeena Gregory was a character in that book, and deserved to have her own story told.
Jeena had everything she could possibly hope for, and a new job that is the beginning of a promising career. But then Jeena overhears some talk between her boss and his secretary indicating illegal practices, and she questions the company’s integrity. Soon Jeena finds herself without a job, broke, and homeless. Suddenly, she is confronted with her prejudices—and a God she had long forgotten.
Miralee Ferrell’s prose, in every one of her books, is fresh and snappy. Add to that the well-plotted story of this book, along with wonderfully developed characters you can’t forget, and you have all the makings of a great novel!
Without giving anything away, I have to say I especially liked the way Miralee mapped out Jeena’s spiritual journey. She takes us down to the nitty-gritty; the meat of the situation.
If you liked The Other Daughter, you will certainly like Finding Jeena. I highly recommend It!
