This novel is a classic example of how we can perceive people and situations wrongly. As most teens do, Margaret Garvey felt that her father only wanted to meddle in her life. She never gave a thought that, being a parent, he knew what was best for her.

As a teacher in an Oregon logging community, Margaret finds herself torn between a past love and the man who could be her future. At sixteen, she had promised her heart to Nathaniel Cooper on the night he disappeared from her life. Four years later, as she considers giving love a second chance with logger, Andrew Browning, Nathaniel suddenly returns to town with a devastating secret. While grappling with the betrayal of those she trusted most, Margaret risks her reputation and position by harboring two troubled runaways who might be involved in the murder of a local man. And as disaster strikes the town and threatens the welfare of its citizens, Margaret is faced with the most important choice of her life.

Throughout the story, Miralee Ferrell reminds us about the different aspects of love: romantic, familial, love between friends, and the all-important love of God for His children.  The author also presents the breathtaking scenery of this historic town with painstaking detail, so as to make one feel a part of it. There is also a little mystery surrounding some of the characters, which keeps the reader turning the pages. So, if you like romance, mystery, and adventure all wrapped together with a faith element, then Love Finds You in Bridal Veil Oregon is for you.
