Finishing a series is always bittersweet. I love the characters in my Ladies’ Shooting Club series so much, I’d like to write more books about them. But my publisher decided we’ll close this series with Book 3, The Blacksmith’s Bravery, and begin a new series (Prairie Dreams) in 2011. I’ve heard from a book club that wanted to make sure The Blacksmith’s Bravery was indeed the final book, because their club doesn’t like to start reading a series until they know they have all the books. So, yes, if you’ve been hoarding your LSC books until you had the complete set, now’s the time. The Blacksmith’s Bravery—story of Vashti, the saloon girl who wants to drive a stagecoach—released November first.

            This book will also be featured this week, starting Nov. 23, on Romantic Times Book Reviews’ “Everything Inspirational” page.
