It's NOT about HIM - Michelle Sutton
It's NOT about HIM
About the book:
Susie passed out while drinking at Jeff's party and later discovered she's pregnant. She has no idea who the father is and considers having an abortion, but instead decides to place her baby for adoption. Following through ends up being more wrenching than she imagined, but she’s determined to do the right thing for her baby.
Jeff feels guilty that Susie was taken advantage of at his party and offers to marry her so she won't have to give up her baby, like his birth mother did with him. But Susie refuses, insisting he should marry someone he loves. Can he convince her that his love is genuine before it's too late? Can she make him understand that it’s not about him—it's about what's best for her child?

"Sutton has hit her stride with book two in the Second Glances series! Written in the same gritty, authentic style as her debut novel, fans will delight in the continuation of Susie's story. There's no sophomore slump here! Filled with finely drawn characters colliding with timeless truths, the prose is taut and rife with tension. Sutton proposes her signature honest answers to heart-wrenching questions. Not to be attempted without a box of tissues. Well worth the read! You won’t put this one down until you finish the last page."

"Michelle Sutton has quickly established herself as a writer unafraid--of painting realistic pictures of life today, and the challenges young people face living in it. As a result, It's Not About Him is authentically gritty as only the Edgy Inspirational Author herself can do it. As a follow-up to It's Not About Me, It's Not About Him does not disappoint, but keeps readers glued to the drama that explores the challenges of Christian living in today’s world."

"Michelle Sutton's "It's Not About..." books are not only entertaining, involving stories, they are ones that deal with the spiritual and emotional issues many teens face on a daily basis. While never glorifying sin, they show the roller coaster of ethical and moral choices humans face, and point the reader toward a closer relationship with the Lord. In my youth pastoring days, these would've been books I recommended to my group without embarrassment."

"Sutton has again written a novel addressing the real life challenges young people face, without sugar coating the issues or the answers. The scenarios she describes are exactly what teenagers and young adults are going through. The questions she raises? They're the ones kids wrestle with daily. Pop culture gives answers to these questions that offer little true hope. Sutton is a voice against the tide of cynicism and dead end solutions. Real issues. Real scenarios. Real hope. That is the heart of It's Not About Him."

"Sutton’s second book for older teens is piercingly accurate and thought provoking. It does an excellent job of conveying real life as a young adult and as a Christian—not something whitewashed and fake. Teens and adults alike will relate to the characters and their situations and will find many avenues for discussion and contemplation."
